JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS is the most visible symbol of Christianity. In the Philippines, the crucifix can be seen not only in the Roman Catholic churches but also among the protestant churches. Cross pins and pendants are commonly used by Catholic and non-Catholics. The non-Catholics preferably use crucifix without the image of the crucified Christ probably because of their prohibition of any carved images of God. It is not surprising that some Catholics are quick to respond, when attacked about carved images of God, to better have a cross with Christ hanging on it rather than have a cross without Christ.God in Exile

This is my second blog.
When I created Damdamin, Isip, Wika at Adhikain I wanted a blog where I could express my thoughts, my feelings, and my aspiration in life. However, it becomes (a) a sounding board where I could express my opinion on various social issues and concerns; (b) a collection of selected articles; and (c) a coffee shop where I simply stand by reading the articles I reproduced for easier reading.
In this blog, I will focus on one theme: God in exile. Well, this is broader in scope because it deals with man, God and the world. The basic question I ask in this blog is: "God, Where Are You?" If there is one reason why I decided to make a blog, I think this is it! This is what I wanted to do in blogging.
I would like to believe that someone will find his/her way here and share my interest. If not, then, I would be the loneliest man in this planet. However, knowing that someone will passing through this blog, I will invite him/her to share a coffee with me. Like the commercial tag line, I say:
Let's sit and talk for awhile... one moment with God in exile.
